Female Wave of Change is very excited to announce a Global Partnership with Inspired Women Lead (IWL)

Female Wave of Change believes that by closing partnerships with other organizations, we will all become stronger and will be able to uplift each other in a way that is of interest to the women who are part of the FWoC Movement.

We are very excited that Inspired Women Lead (IWL), represented by founder and president Bonnie Fatio, and Female Wave of Change, represented by founder and board member Ingun Bol, have agreed that a partnership will be of interest to both organizations.

In exchange to be able to reach out to a global network of women IWL and FWoC have agreed that Female Wave of Change and her Ambassadors, (Specialist) Wavemakers, Board members, and women around the world will be able to apply to the IWL Mentoring Program. This is provided they meet the criteria of a maximum of 5 women into each mentoring program (of which a new one starts every 6 months), coming from the 5 different continents. When space is available and criteria are met, IWL can accept more than 5 women into a program.

Mentoring women cross-culturally to lead globally

Inspired Women Lead mentors women who desire to make a difference in the world and who are ready to discover their own authentic feminine leadership. The mentoring is free and at the end of the program women feel more empowered as a woman leader and will be able to then mentor a woman from another country and culture. The world needs a new form of leadership, one that does not put you into a box and demand that you model a style that is not yours.

It is time for authentic, feminine leadership that is defined by the unique qualities, skills and experience of the individual leader. Feminine to complement the masculine.

Behind every successful woman, is a tribe of other successful women

IWL will help you discover and define your unique leadership. Go to our website to get in touch.

We are sure IWL will inspire many Female Wave of Change women around the globe in the years to come. Let’s create those waves with women using IWL to take the next step in their life!

Female Wave of Change (FWoC) is very excited to announce a global partnership with Stand Up for Afghan Academic Women

Global Partnership Stand Up for Afghan Academic WomenIn this rapidly changing world, we need to join forces. Women can uplift each other and make sure our goals will be reached faster and in the best way possible. Building bridges between other local and international women organisations will open up a large network and expand the power of our voice. That is what Stand Up for Afghan Academic Women does.

“Alone we can go fast, together we will go further”

“Last decades of war in Afghanistan, plus the restricted rules of the Taliban regime against the women, we have created a gap of capacity building and recruitments for the female part of the society. This is the reason why nowadays even the literate females graduating from the high schools and universities, still do not have enough capacity and self-confidence to get employed by the governmental, non-governmental and civil society organizations. Therefore, the Stand Up organization was established to enhance and develop the capacity of the women for the recruitment process mostly in the fields of science, business and education. These are the requirements for the women to be employed by the mentioned organizations, in addition to promoting the legal awareness about the rights of women in the Afghan society.”

Stand Up for Afghan Academic Women

Stand Up has been founded by Manizha Paktin, professor at Balkh University and Director of RAD constructional Company and awardee of the International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC). IWEC is a global partner of Female Wave of Change. Stand up is active in many areas in Afghanistan. Manizha is the Female Wave of Change ambassador in Afghanistan.

We intend to make this a partnership where we learn from each other and support each other to uplift women worldwide, to grow the group of feminine change makers and leaders. Women who take responsibility to create their own future, the future of their families, their communities and of the world.

We are looking forward to create those waves together by connecting, building bridges, sharing knowledge and transforming change into new opportunities.

Together the global network of FWoC and the local Dutch network of Future Builders Network can realize great impact on innovation and sustainability projects up into the very capillaries of society.

Female Wave of Change offers a global platform where women meet, share knowledge and experience and create new opportunities together. Future Builders Network is a Dutch local network, based in Nijmegen, of women working on sustainable and innovative projects. The members of Future Builders Network are willing and able to use their knowledge, experience and network and to work on sustainable and innovative projects in the Netherlands and around the world.

‘A partnership with FWOC is a great way to distribute the knowledge of our network to women worldwide’, says Yvonne Keijzers, Managing Partner of Future Builders Network. ‘I am looking forward to realizing this partnership. Together we can make our projects more thrive; by creating open source models for solutions we need for a sustainable world and by inspiring all participants.’

Join Forces

‘In this rapidly changing world, we need to join forces. Women can uplift each other and make sure our goals will be realized faster and in the best way possible’, says Ingun Bol, Founder of FWoC. ‘On our global platform women of all nationalities work together in teams to create solutions for challenges we are and will be facing in the future. The members of Future Builders Network do have excellent knowledge on subjects like circular economy, sustainable building, eco-diversity, climate change, data science, e-health, education, government and project management. FWoC is excited to announce global partnership with IWEC

partnership IWECFemale Wave of Change is determined to reach out to as many women worldwide. Individuals, local communities but also international women’s organizations. We feel it is very important that in a world that is changing so rapidly we need to join forces so we can uplift each other and realize our goals faster. Of course we choose to partner up with organizations that share our vision.

We are very excited to announce the partnership with IWEC, International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge. A global organization based in New York. Our FWoC Ambassador Tina Thomson in New York introduced us to Nancy Ploeger, executive director and secretary IWEC, who recognized the great synergy between the two organizations.

Women’s entrepreneurial empowerment

IWEC is a global network that drives women’s entrepreneurial empowerment. Their underlying mission is to empower successful businesswomen and enables them to expand their business reach into new markets and geographies, granting them unique networking, educational, and mentoring opportunities along the way.

Closing the gap between female and male entrepreneurship and connecting successful businesswomen are important contributors to the economic, social, and cultural empowerment of women across the globe. Therefore, they promote the social dialog among women entrepreneurs and business leaders. Their work is rooted in the respect and care for all human kind.  IWEC empowers women to uplift one another and leave a positive mark on the world.

Awards

Every year IWEC Awards are granted to honor women-owned businesses throughout the world and to facilitate connections between them. Chambers and affiliate women’s organizations nominate up to three women-owned businesses from their organizations for the IWEC Award. The award is presented during the Annual Conference, which is held in a different host city or country every fall.
